Equipment in our Diesel Lab includes;

2 each modern 900 HP diesel engines (Caterpillar 3512 and EMD 12V567)

Magrotech computer-controlled diesel powerplant and electrical generator simulator

miscellaneous small diesel engines

fuel injection test equipment

PMC Beta engine monitoring system

Engine analyzer (on board the TSSOM)

PC-based diesel simulator

In addition to the equipment in the Diesel Lab in Rogers Hall, laboratory classes also utilize equipment on our Training Ship State of Maine.  Below are a few pictures of students in a lab class examining the ship's main diesel engine.
